Gay Moment 459

Here is a late, random blog.
Fair warning, there is a picture of a toilet. This is my life in the last 36 hours...
Izzy came to work.
She's a biotch.

My auntie sent me this.
Who's buying me tickets?

This conversation pretty much sums up mine and Niki's relationship.
I don't hate it.

Even though Niki made us dinner, Ro and I were still HANGRY & inhaled some plastic chicken.

Then we cuddled and watched Monsters University for the 47th time in 2 weeks.
I don't think I'm exaggerating, I'd say that's a prettttty accurate guesstimate.

I woke up with my upper lip dry as a bone, red, and irratated.
Plus, I had a nice pimple.
WTF?

So I took the advice of Dev & kept a consistent layer of Aquaphor on my face ALL DAY.
Yes, even at work.
Hey, if you can't look like you ate a bucket of greasy fried chicken and be proud, then maybe you should reevaluate your confidence.
#imsexyandiknowit

Then I came home and clogged the toilet.
YOU ARE WELCOME.

For all you amateurs, ADD BUTTER TO YOUR UNCOOKED APPLE PIE. Or give up.
(Yes, I did wash my hands between plunging & baking)

Then I hulked the handle off my oven.
Awesome.

But it was worth it.
I am doing my damnedest to not cut into this right neow.

Luckily, I can't because my nails are wet...
They look black but they are ox blood red.
The magazines and Pinterest told me it was "in" so I rolled with it.

K, gotta go. I'm on disk 2 of Return of the King and Sam & Frodo are on gay moment 459.
Gotta love it.

Happy Thankgiving my pretties.

TROOPA & Miralax

Well, Christmas came early for yours truly.
Steve Madden Troopa boots.
So. Excited.

I'm only working Mon-Wed this week, so I'm working through my lunches to make it count.
Meaning no gym time - so I have to be more accountable with my eating.
Not a problem...
In my defense, the butterscotch cupcakes are Niki's.

Have I ever mentioned that I carry two phones?
Yup. My personal phone and my work phone.
I've had this P.O.S for 6 months & I still don't know how to use it.
It's not a smart phone...so it doesn't do everything for dumb people.
Ugh. I spent 30 minutes going through the manual yesterday, trying to figure out how to turn an alert on for when I receive e-mails.
No luck.

B-t-dubz, Ro is famous.
Her cousin, Zach, is competing for Mr. Cougar & she had a "photo shoot" with him yesterday.
Zach captured this pic of Rosalie & Katelyn playing in the leaves...
It may be one of my favorite photos ever.

After I picked Rosalie up we came home to Niki cooking us a feast.
Then we all had a beverage & watched LOTR on the couch.
Mine & Nik's beverage was a little more fun than Ro's prune juice laced with Miralax...
Niki knows how to treat a girl right.
And that sums it up.
Happy Worst Day of the Week!

One year vs. Two years

Well that was a long weekend. And by long I do mean short.
You know what I mean? It went quick but there was a lot packed in it.
If I was still talking about IT, I'd have more to say, but I alas, I am not....so that leads me back to Thursday night where this happened:
Peppermint ice cream with mini Oreos.
OMG, it tasted like Thin Mints exploding in my mouth (that's what she said).
So delish.

Around 8pm I buckled in for Vampire Diaries. Rosalie was all about it too...
Haha, I love when she passes out like this.
It's the best. She's just such a snuggle bug.

Friday morning I had to take Ro to the doc for some *ahem* pooping issues *ahem*.
Let's just say she doesn't share mom's gusto for the pot.
After we got home from the doc, Jaime & Josh came over to hang out with my gurl.

^^Rosalie got new mittens with Aunt Misa.

Something that really freaking brightened my Friday?
This bad boy:
Laughed for so long at this.
Tooooo long.

I don't even want to TALK about Saturday, folks.
Except this'll pretttty much sum it up for you...
Swaddled in my blankie on the couch, drinking alone, mourning the Ducks loss.
#sooooosingle

I did cuddle with my cat boyfriend for a while. I even bought him a stylish cap for the game...

One Niki got off work, things started looking up. We watched The Hunger Games because we went and saw Catching Fire on Sunday AM.
SO. FREAKING. GOOD.
Then I cleaned, did laundry, watched LOTR, and ate an entire package of tortellini.
Things went well.
Oh! I did run 2 miles Saturday morning. Take that carbs!!!

But check this out!
On the left, Ro at 1 year. On the right, Ro at 2 years.
What a beauty.

And that was my weekend in a nutshell.

Happy Monday.

What's in my kitchen?

I bet you've alllll wondered, what kind of food is in Michelle's kitchen?
Oh come on, you know you have!
Whatever.
I took the liberty of photographing my fridge & pantry for you, gentle readers.
Be prepared for me to knock your socks off...

Freezer: Eggo's, Lean Pockets, bacon, Dreyer's, sourdough bread and English muffins.

Freezer door: chick nugs, strawberries, veggies, & turkey burgers.

Fridge: eggs, tortillas (whole wheat & carb balance), sugar free snack packs, Gogurt, nonfat plain Greek yogurt, an aray of cheeses, juice, milk, grapes, soda, beer & veggies.

Fridge door: jelly, pesto, sugar free creamer, wine, garlic and condiments.

Pantry: corn, black beans, baking goods, spices, & peanut butter. Oh. And more beer and soda.

Pantry: Cheerios, brown rice, coconut chips, Mac n Cheese, rice cakes, cous cous, brown rice pasta, and a bunch of crap.

Last but not least, my fruit bowl!

And that is my food.
I bet you're real glad I took the time to share that with all of you.
You're welcome for the three minutes you'll never get back.

Happy Thursday!

So it begins.

HUMP DAY.
That rhymes with DUMP DAY. So that's what this blog is going to be.
Another photo dump.
I've really got to stop being so good at blogging.

I am a fan of anything that uses LOTR (for humor or otherwise).
I spent a solid 4 minutes laughing at this.

Hit the gym up for a very sweaty 2 miles on my lunch.
Running inside makes me DRIP compared to running outside...obviously it is the below freezing temps in November (I am ICE today).

Aaaaand, obviously I run so I can eat.
Got drinks with a coworker last night and we accidentally ordered this.
How weird (OMG, so delish).

We then went shopping for outfits for our Christmas party...
I have, once again, sacrificed my dignity for you guys:
I'm sorry. Wtf is wrong with this dress?
Reminded me of Gwyneth and her infamous nude-boob gown.
Hard pass.

This one was ok. I wished it was shorter.

I'm going to get this one. I love it.
Plus it is super comfy.

I finally came home around 9pm.
Yes, that's an hour past my bedtime. But look what was waiting for me!
So sweet.
I literally went AWWWWWW.
And then I went to bed, being the wild and crazy young thing that I am.

Now it is Wednesday and we're almost freaking DONE.
Here's a pic to get you through your day...
Another bathroom selfie!? Michelle! You shouldn't have.
Peace out cubscouts.

Blizzard Trumps Miracle Noodle

This is going to be fast & furious. Without Vin Diesel.

I tried something new last night - Miracle Noodle.
ZERO calories.
ZERO carbs.
Yes, please. Save me from myself.

Give them a good rinse (they smell like vomit).
Then boil them for 2-4 minutes.

Drain them & then throw them in a frying fan with a little oil.
I used coconut oil.

Add whatever sauces you desire.

Heat it up.
Add veggies and meat!

Or be REAL lazy like me & eat them with sauce only, standing in your kitchen, FaceBooking & listening to Rachel Jason Derulo.

Got to admit, they were pretty freaking awesome.
I got them at Capella Market on Willamette St. here in Eugene.
They are single servings & $2.84 a pop. But if it's worth it - it's worth it. YaknowwhatImean?

And then do this:

Make up for the calories you avoided with Miracle Noodle!
(In all actuality, I practically forced Sarah to go get Rosalie & I ice cream...so she's the best friend in the world and you all should be jealous that SHE'S MINE.)

Here is this morning's selfie:
Boom.
